The amazing train ride from Colombo to Kandy, Sri Lanka.

For some reason, I've always wanted to ride a bike around Sri Lanka. Literally, on the streets closest to the water all the way around. Not sure how feasible that is... But it still intrigues me.

Hey, what's up - this is completely random, but responding to a video on YouTube you recorded two years ago - "Michigan, my Michigan". I would have just responded there, but I'll be darned if YouTube is going to force me to make a Gmail account to post there.

It is not, in fact, "Michigander". That was, interestingly enough, a slander invented by Abraham Lincoln to mock an opponent he once had from Michigan. Lincoln changed his tune later, of course, when Michigan was ridiculously pro-Union, raised a huge number of regiments and he remarked "Thank God for Michigan."

Michigander stuck around and lost all its sting because people thought it sounded neat. Nonetheless, Michiganian is the official term (as far as the Federal Government Printing Office is concerned) for Michigan's people and it's the only one I ever use. I think Snyder's the first governor to ever employ Michigander and, frankly, it's still not appropriate.

Nice job on the song.
