Christmas Present: The Frog
I didn't get many Christmas presents this year, but what I did get was more than enough. Here's a favourite, from David, in Santa Barbara: the grows-in-water frog.

HAAAAAA that is one freaking awesome frog.
OMG! That is awesome! I must have one!
Does it stay that big out of the water, or does it shrink back down?
I would also like to know the answer to that question, it's pretty impressive!
The answer is that it does shrink back down to its original size. But it takes a lot longer than it does to grow to that size. Like, three weeks. It's back to its shrunken form now, although its front legs are a little pigeon-toed now, I guess because they were squeezed a little in the bowl when it was giant.
It's beautiful..
