I never go to Lumphini park without seeing one of these guys. On this day I saw seven of them, and I didn't even go into the park, I was just jogging along the fence outside to catch a bus to work (and stopping to take photos for my blog, obviously). Wow, you have real life Thai-komodo dragons there, talk about interesting park animals! how ar they with humans? scared? do old people feed them bread crumbs?
P.S. for months your blog said "perfect temperature in bangkok" and then bam! and I've gatta do some catching up. Hope you're north american tour was a success.
